Yale EXPLO @ Stevens Street Garden

Yale EXPLO @ Stevens Street Garden

On July 11, 2014, students from Yale EXPLO came to volunteer at the Stevens Street Garden. Yale EXPLO is three week summer program for students entering grades 10-12 hosted on Yale University’s campus. Its aim is to create a dynamic environment of intellectual inquiry, responsible decision making and spirited adventure. They are also encouraged to be engaged with their community. The Stevens Street Garden is a place where residents can come together and learn about organic gardening in an urban environment. The students were a huge help in weeding, watering, mulching, and mowing the garden.

A huge shout-out to all of the students for their hard work!
