Vivint "Give Back" Event

On Monday, July 7, 25 volunteers from Vivint, a home security company in Hamden, joined us for a 3-hour "Give Back" event. They split into groups, with some working in the Ivy Street Community Garden continuing the efforts and cleanup there, some in the Fairlawn Manor area of Blake Street helping to beautify the sidewalks by picking up litter, cutting down weeds, raking, and tree mulching, and some in the NHS Demo Garden helping the efforts to continue building it up.
